Creating a Greater Impact in the Organizations that Impact Your Community
Since day one at Fulcrum Properties Group, we've donated a portion of our commission from each sale to a non-profit entity. By launching the Foundation, we now compound these one-off donations with client contributions and affiliated vendor giving. We still give for every closing we have at Fulcrum, but now we offer our clients the ability to donate as well, and when they do, we double our contribution. (That's a three for one!)
And where most agents ask their affiliated business partners - lenders, title, insurance, movers, and other companies - to help by "co-sponsoring" client appreciation events (which is really just an indirect way to lower the team's expenses) we ask ours to donate to the Foundation. We believe that real estate should build community. And building community means having an impact where you live.
Here are the three major efforts we're involved with this year:
- In May we committed $10,000 to our partners at Generosity Global, who deliver clean drinking water in Africa and serve the homeless in Baltimore.
- This October we will be supporting our longtime friends at Playtime Project as they are the beneficiary of our Annual Halloween Fundraiser.
- Rounding our 2019, we're thrilled to launch our first internal project, Vacation Possible. The goal of Vacation Possible is to provide one week get-aways to single parent families that would otherwise not be able to vacation.
